Why I Had to Write “My Soul”

There are songs you make for the charts, and then there are songs you make for yourself. My Soul wasn’t planned—it just had to be written.

I was sitting alone one night, wrestling with a bunch of emotions I couldn’t really explain. Life had been heavy. People see the outside, the music, the moments—but they don’t always see the storm you’re walking through quietly. That night, instead of letting it eat me up, I opened a blank page and started writing.

No Filters, Just Feelings

I didn’t overthink it. No fancy metaphors, no trying to sound clever—just truth. Raw and real. That’s what My Soul is. It’s not about being perfect. It’s about being honest. And for me, that’s what music should be.

The Beat Found Me

I’ll be real—I didn’t even go looking for the beat. It found me. The moment I heard it, I knew: “This is it.” That sound had the same energy I was carrying inside. Pain. Power. Peace. All wrapped up together. The lyrics just poured out after that.

A Song for Anyone Who Feels Too Much

If you’ve ever felt misunderstood, overwhelmed, or just deeply human—this song is for you. I know what it’s like to hold everything in. But My Soul is about letting it out. About letting yourself feel, and not apologizing for it.

More Than Music

At the end of the day, this song isn’t just something I made. It’s a piece of me. And sharing it with the world? That’s me saying, “You’re not alone.” If My Soul speaks to even one person out there—that’s enough for me.
